Jerzy Semkow conduct NPRSO

On Friday, 1 February, National Polish Radio Symphony Orchestra in Katowice started a series of concerts presenting masterpieces of a great romantic - Johannes Brahms, interpreted by remarkable Polish conductor Jerzy Semkow.
World known conductor maestro Jerzy Semkow has declared in current season his artistic support to the orchestra of the symphonics from Katowice. During the first concert of the series he presented String concert with Jakub Jakowicz as the soloist and Brahms's Symphony no. 1
The programme of next concerts planned in 2008 conducted by Jerzy Semkow will be filled by all remaining Brahms's symphonies, two piano concertos (with Peter Donohoe and Rudof Buchbinder in solo parts) and Dual Concert with violinist Viviane Hagner and cellist Alban Gerhardt
